Sleeping Partners For Passengers!!!

Damn, Air India Pilots were found dozing in the cockpit!! The napping pilots flew 359 miles past the airport and were still at cruising altitude when nervous air traffic controllers woke them up! The flight which was on autopilot flying towards Mumbai, had about 100 passengers on board.

Now tell me, who is going to travel by air india if the circumstances are as above, you are risking your life for some unknown person who is sleeping and relaxing instead of flying the plane!!

This is just the start, the next thing you know, an air hostess will be lying down between the seats and will tell you to please move a bit as she cant relax properly! Hehe!!

In other news saw "Chronicles Of Narnia : Prince Caspian" for the second time in the cinema today!! I still stick by my previous decision! The first part was much better, and one more thing, they gave Aslan only a small part in the movie, even though he was the main attraction! I think they wanted to keep him for the end as the finale! Well, it was a good attempt but not as good as "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe"

Where To Make An Effort!

A giant ship's engine failed. The ship's owners
tried one expert after another, but none of them could
figure but how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing
ships since he was young. He carried a large bag of
tools with him, and when he arrived, he
immediately went to work. He inspected the engine
very carefully, top to
bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this
man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking
things over, the old man reached into his bag and
pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped
something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He
carefully put his hammer away.
The engine was fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the
old man for ten thousand dollars.

"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did
anything!"

So they wrote the old man a note saying, "Please
send us an itemized bill."

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer..... ........ .... $ 2.00
Knowing where to tap...... ........ .... $ 9,998.00

effort makes all the difference'*

Really Touching

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many Months he had
admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his
father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As
Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father
called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to
have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his
son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed the
young man opened the box and found a lovely, "Gutka of Japji Saheb".

Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money
you give me a "Gutka of Japji Saheb"?" and stormed out of the house,
leaving the holy book. Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but
realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make
arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed
away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home
immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's
house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his
father's important papers and saw the still new "Gutka of Japji Saheb",
just as he had left it years ago.

With tears, he opened the "Japji Saheb" and began to turn the pages.

As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind
the "Japji Saheb". It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer
who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his
graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL. How many times do we miss
WAHEGURU'S blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?
